Privacy policy

This policy complies with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP). The data controller is kit593. To exercise your rights or ask a question, write to us at soportekit593@gmail.com or, if you have an account, open a ticket in “My account” → “Help”.

Without an account: your data stays on your device

kit593's tools work in your browser. If you don't create an account, your business, customer, product and photo data are stored only in your browser's local storage and aren't sent to our servers. You can delete them by clearing the site data in your browser.

Cookies and browser storage

kit593 doesn't use cookies. It uses your browser's local storage so the tools work (your data, the light or dark theme, your session if you create an account and your email if you tick “Remember my email”). That is necessary for the service and isn't used to track you.

Anonymous usage statistics

To know which tools are used and improve them, we anonymously record the pages visited, the buttons pressed (only their name, never what you type) and the PDFs generated, together with the device type, the country (according to Cloudflare) and the site you came from. We don't store your IP address and detailed records are deleted after 60 days.

The first time we ask whether you accept statistics. If you accept, your browser remembers a random identifier (not linked to your name or email) to count returning visitors. If you don't choose, we only use a per-tab identifier that is forgotten when you close it. If you say no, or if your browser has “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control turned on, we record nothing. You can change your choice by deleting the site data in your browser.

With an account (optional)

If you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email, we store your email address, your business details and logo (and, if you add it with Pro, the image of your signature or stamp), your last 3 quotes (all of them with Pro), your frequent clients and, if you save it to your account, a catalog of up to 30 products with their photos, so you can use them on several devices. What you did without an account on that device is never uploaded to your account, and when you sign in or out, the previous account's data is deleted from the browser (useful on shared computers). The first time you sign in we ask you to accept the terms of use and this policy, and we store the date and version you accepted. We also count how many PDFs you generate per day in each tool (only the number), to apply the account's daily limit across all your devices, and we store the notices we send you (for example, “we answered your ticket”). This data is stored in Supabase (servers in the United States) with security rules that allow only you to access it. By creating your account you accept that international transfer, which is necessary to provide the service. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request. Emails with your sign-in code are sent from soportekit593@gmail.com through Google's email service. We do not sell or share your information. You can delete your cloud data from “My account” → “Settings”. Your frequent clients' ID or tax number is stored encrypted (see “Encrypted ID numbers”).

Pro features

With Pro you can also save several catalogs of up to 200 products, your products and services, the status of your quotes and your workers with their monthly payrolls (name, position, salary, start date and encrypted ID). If you publish your catalog or menu online, that copy (business name, WhatsApp, logo, products, prices and photos) is public to anyone with the link; you can pause it whenever you want. From those public pages we only count the number of visits.

If your Pro expires: we don't delete anything right away. For 12 months we keep everything you created with Pro (although without Pro you only see your last 3 quotes and can't edit Pro-only items); if you renew within that time, you get it back as it was. We'll notify you in the bell 30 and 7 days before. After that, the account moves to the free plan: your last 3 quotes and 1 catalog per business are kept, and older quotes, extra catalogs, your saved products, your workers and payrolls, and your online pages are deleted. Photos no longer used by any catalog are deleted automatically.

Encrypted IDs

The IDs or passports of your frequent customers and your workers are stored encrypted with AES-256. The key was generated at random inside our database provider (Supabase Vault) and never leaves it: it's not in the code, nor in your browser, nor in any copy. Only your account can ask for yours to be decrypted. IDs you type in receipts, delivery notes or a standalone payroll only appear in the PDF and aren't stored.

Activity log and diagnostics (so we can help you)

If you have an account, we keep a record of what you do with your cloud data (for example: “created quote No. 12 for $45”, “edited the catalog”, “changed their plan”), without copying ID numbers or images, for 13 months. When something fails in your browser (an error notice), we send the error message, the page, the kit593 version, the device type and a random “support code” from your browser; never what you typed in the tools. These diagnostics are deleted after 90 days. They are used only to investigate and fix the problems you report to us. Your browser also keeps, only on your device, a list of the last pages and errors you saw; you attach it to a ticket only if you decide to.

Support

If you open a support ticket, we store your message and our replies with your account so we can help you. You can close it whenever you want; it is deleted if you delete your account.

Pro payments

Pro payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (United States), which acts as an authorized reseller: on its own page it receives your email, your name, your country and your card or PayPal details, and handles them under its own privacy policy. It only sends kit593, in a signed notice, the subscription ID, its status and its dates, together with your account code that we pass to it when opening the payment so we know whom to activate Pro for. We keep those notices for 5 years as an accounting record.

What we never store

Passwords (you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email), card details or PayPal or bank credentials: payments are made on the payment provider's page, and we only receive the subscription ID and its status.

Data of your customers and workers

If you store your clients' names and phone numbers or your workers' data in the cloud, you are responsible for that data and we only store it on your behalf, for you to use. We do not use it for anything else or share it.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, take it with you, object to its use or ask for it to be deleted. From “My account” → “Settings” you can delete everything in the cloud; for any other request or complaint, write to us at soportekit593@gmail.com and we'll reply within 15 days at most. If you aren't satisfied with our reply, you can file a complaint with Ecuador's Personal Data Protection Authority.

Security and incidents

We protect cloud data with access only for its owner, encrypted connections and IDs stored encrypted. If a security breach affecting your data occurred, we would notify the Personal Data Protection Authority within the legal deadlines and let you know without delay, with what happened, what we did and what we recommend.

Image and PDF tools

The PDF and photo tools (reduce images, compress, merge and split PDFs, scan, sign, redact data, photo to text, PDF to Excel, convert images, Word and Excel to PDF, remove backgrounds, remove watermarks and enlarge photos) are processed on your device, whether or not you have an account: files aren't uploaded to any server. Those that use artificial intelligence (remove backgrounds, remove watermarks, enlarge photos, photo to text and redact data) run their models on your own device: kit593 doesn't receive, see or store your photos or documents, nor use them to train models. The first time, the necessary models are downloaded from our own site.

Error reports

If you report incorrect data, we store your message, the page and, only if you write it, your name. We don't store your IP: we use an irreversible fingerprint to prevent spam.

Advertising and cookies

We don't show ads for now. When we do (Google AdSense), Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and we'll ask for your consent before turning them on. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings.

Reference results

kit593 is a private, independent service: it doesn't belong to and isn't affiliated with the SRI, the IESS, the Ministry of Labor, the Civil Registry or any other public entity. The calculations and documents are for reference and not official; quotes, catalogs, receipts and other documents are not sales receipts. Check the values with the relevant entity.
