Remove watermarks
For your own documents and photos: remove “DRAFT”, “COPY” or an unwanted text, without uploading anything to the internet.

It is processed on your device, not on our servers: your files are not uploaded to the internet. With large files it may take a while and your device may run slower while it works; don't close this tab until it finishes.
Your file
How does it work?
PDFs: Word, Acrobat and other programs tag the watermark as such inside the PDF. If so, we remove it automatically and the rest stays intact (the text can still be copied). If not, you can paint over it by hand.
Photos: you paint the area and an artificial intelligence (MI-GAN) rebuilds what was behind it. Scanned documents: the “Lighten” option turns a light mark white without erasing dark text.
Use it only with your own files or files you have permission to modify. In many countries, removing without authorization the information that identifies the author of a work is a copyright infringement. The small “kit593” stamp on our free PDFs cannot be removed with this tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded to the internet?
No. Everything is processed on your phone or computer. The first time, the AI model (about 28 MB) is downloaded and stays saved in your browser.
Can I remove the watermark from a photo from the internet or a stock image site?
You shouldn't: those marks protect the author's rights. If you need the photo, buy it or ask for permission. This tool is for your own documents, like a “DRAFT” that no longer applies.
Why can't I remove the kit593 mark?
It's how we keep the tools free. It's small and goes in a corner so it doesn't get in the way. With kit593 Pro your PDFs come out without it.
Is the text in the PDF still selectable?
Yes, when the watermark is removed automatically. If you remove it by hand, each page is saved as a good-quality image.
