It is processed on your device, not on our servers: your files are not uploaded to the internet. With large files it may take a while and your device may run slower while it works; don't close this tab until it finishes.

Permissions are respected by Adobe, Chrome and most readers, but some programs may ignore them.
Frequently asked questions
How secure is it?
256-bit AES encryption is used, the same one Adobe and banks use. A long password is practically impossible to guess.
What if I forget the password?
It can't be recovered: not even we know it, because it never leaves your device. Keep a copy without a password.
What are permissions for?
They prevent whoever opens the PDF from printing it, copying the text or editing it. Most readers respect them, but not all.
Are my PDF or my password uploaded?
No. Everything is done on your device.
