Why isn't a black box enough?
If a black box is drawn over text in a PDF, the text is still there: it can be copied or seen by removing the box. Here, covered pages become images, so the data disappears from the file. Pages with nothing covered are copied as they are. In photos, hidden data (such as GPS location) is also removed.

What does the automatic search find?
ID and tax ID numbers, phone numbers, emails and long numbers such as bank accounts or cards. In scanned PDFs and photos it uses text recognition, which may fail with blurry text: always check the result.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your device.
Which style is best?
Black is the safest. Pixelation uses large blocks so the text can't be read or reconstructed.
How many can I make?
As many as you want: it's free with no daily limit, with or without an account.
